MutualBeesDC is a member of MutualBees.org and the MutualFarms.org network. MutualBeesDC exchange resources and services for mutual benefit:

—beekeeping knowledge

—earth knowledge from the bees in the form of honey, beeswax, pollen, propolis and the (mostly) calming vibrations of the bees.

At present, paper money is exchanged for products from the bees. But direct exchange of resources & knowledge is also considered/encouraged. Humans must work in collaboration with the earth. The bees know what to do. The beekeeper occasionally helps.

MutualBeesDC’s current Beekeeper-in-Residence began keeping bees in Vermont in 2013 and has had hives in the DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia) region since 2019.
